Chasing Luxury
Have you ever heard the saying "you never see a hearse pulling a U-Haul"?. What this saying means is you should not spend your life chasing materialistic things because at the end of the day you will not be able to take those things with you when you die. Life is very frustrating because you are told to work as hard as you can and try to make as much money as possible but is that actually important? I tend to struggle with this topic a lot because constantly get to consumed with making as much money as I can to ensure that I can get out of college with less debt as possible. I get so consumed that I start to miss out on the most important things in life. which are making memories with friends and family. I try to prepare myself so much but at the end of the day, it may not even matter in the end. To end off, I want to say if you are someone like me and work your self to death. Remember to have fun and do not stress about the little things. Everything will work out the way it is suppose too.
This blog post was very inspiring to read. It is a very valuable mindset to have and is something I personally need to work on. By valuing the little things in life rather than the materialistic side, you begin to appreciate life a little more. This idea is vital to living to your fullest potential. The part of your blog post that resonated the most to me was when you mentioned how you don't take the materialistic things with you when you die. That part really opened my eyes up to what really matters in life: the memories you carry with you. That is something that can't be replaced.
